The First Great War

Though few know what caused it , the two worlds Xenith and Zenith became connected the Rifts in time and space. Of course this immediately caused conflict. The fire empire saw this as an opportune time to expand its boarders , even more so into what would be a whole new world. It was their land that was effect first , and after exploration from scouts into where the rifts would go they decided to make a camp at one inside their territory , crossing over to make a camp on the other side as well. However when the Zenith empire found out about this it couldn't be allowed , and was considered an immediate threat.

A force was dispatched to deal with the encroaching fire empire. The battle turned for the worse , casualties were high on both sides as neither had encountered anything like the other before. However the war hardened Zenith pushed the fire culture back through the gate , following it through as it set up camp , preparing to take the fight back to this new enemy. Furthermore , because of the example of the fire nation , Zenith considered all inhabitants of the other realm to be Hostile.

Upon finding more rifts over to the other realm zenith began to wage war with each of the nations , managing to be larger in size than all the others were alone , the world of magic came to a realization that it would have to stand together against this new threat. The magi put up a great fight , and in time began to overpower their technologically inclined counterparts. However in their war they failed to realize what it was that had created this problem in the first place. And without word , entire armies began to disappear from the face of both realms.

Eventually after some time both realms came to terms and with much negotiation they came to the realization that whatever had created the rifts in the first place was much more dangers than the other realm itself. The leaders all held council together and created an elite team from both worlds. Consisting of 10 members it was to investigate and find out what it was that had created the rifts , and put a stop to it at any cost. And after it set out the Team was never heard from again.

After the cease fire the two realms came to embrace one another , coming to a new age of peace , during which they traded technology and knowledge each helping the other as immigrants drifted from one place to another. Many years passed , and with each more openings in the rifts were created , creating a further mesh of the two realms. Eventually a technology was created to control when and where rifts would open , creating a constant gate between the two worlds. Peace settled into the worlds once again. This peace would last for ages as the two realms meshed learning a great deal from one another. This thousand year period became known as "The Age of Paradise" and memory of war and why it all began faded into history and text books , eventually fading from there as well.....
